A shooting  star A  closed  window A low fog  hugging  the ground A dream  trapped in a small room A love that is  not recognized A  broken heart A  regret  that sits in the pit of your stomach A  pain  indescribable to yourself A  lone flower  in the  snow       represents your       thoughts

A pained scream from              within my room A cry for help         into my pillow A beg for mercy         from within myself A hushed prayer        for my protection A silent knock        from my mother A small sigh of relief               for it was only  a Nightmare

You sing every night Then... You cry yourself to sleep Later... You sing in the morning And... You hide your tears At lunch... You sing softly People ask you.. "Who is he?" Silence... You hum alone Later... You sing for him However... He isn't listening At night... You cry yourself to sleep ... And repeat the process

Waking from a deep sleep there is no time to take in reality until you do the normal routine. Still asleep, you walk into the classromm, not remembering the bus ride. Sitting down, you notice nothing. When he walks in and speaks to you, that is the moment you are released from your trance. He doesn't realize how bad your night was or how much pain you're in. You let it all go and simply enjoy the time you have with him. He tells you things he normally wouldn't tell anyone. (Including who he likes) You know you like him. He knows you like him. A long, dark shadow casts itself over a field of red sunlit roses. A great frost slowly covers the field in sparkling white ice crystals. As the roses wither, the shadow grows ever darker and all light is gone. The trees that surround the field untouched by the frost. All hope is ripped from this field of happiness. In its place is a forgotten wasteland of broken hearts and  desperate dreams  .
